Creating a Competency Culture
Situation: Client XYZ needed a better way to identify training needs for their personnel.
Solution: Strategy Link recommended the use of a competency model in order to gear the clients training towards only those behaviors that could add value to each position. With the help of our consultants, the client implemented SL’s competency, 360° Assessments, Training, and Recruiting modules in order to evaluate, train, and recruit personnel according to their competency catalog. The customer satisfaction module was also implemented in order to make sure that the company’s culture had positively changed towards the use of competencies throughout the firm. Finally, Target Pro was recommended and implemented as a competency training tool.

SAT
The internal revenue system of a foreign government needed to evaluate its employee satisfaction. It also needed to re-define roles and expectations for each position and the perception of certain changes made to management.
Solution: Strategy Link suggested the use of its Employee Satisfaction module as to perform a survey in which the perception of the new changes was to be measured according to work areas, experience working for the company, and position within the organization. The survey was performed in all parts of the country, gathering specific information on the most affected group of employees, their reasons for insatisfaction, and the possible corrective measures to take. Corrective actions were taken in order to improve corporate image and provide attention to certain departments within the organization that needed special care.
| Status: The success of the tool prompted the request of the performance management module, which is currently being evaluated and discussed as the next step towards improving the efficiency of the organization. |
